Il y avait 91% de résidences principales, 3% de résidences secondaires et 6% de logements vacants. <br />La composition de la population de Bièvres se répartissait approximativement comme suit : 26% de 19 ans et moins, 54% entre 20 et 60 ans, 20 % de plus de 60 ans.</p><p class="texte" style="MARGIN: auto 0cm">La population est assez stable en nombre depuis 30 ans. Elle représente un taux moyen d'actifs de 48 %. Chaque jour environ 81% des actifs bièvrois quittent Bièvres.</p><p class="texte" style="MARGIN: auto 0cm">Bièvres accueille plusieurs activités importantes comme la manufacture des pains Poilâne, la société Guy Degrenne, les sociétés du parc Burospace, Bouygues Telecom.
