Ooh, nasty
I have ear pain. Have actually had it since Sunday but have neglected to say as much.
Apparently I damaged my ear canal in the act of ear wax removal, leading to non-trivial amounts of pain that seems to be being replaced only with a distinct and nasty heartbeat in my ear. Ooh, nasty. Yes, I did seek professional treatment immediately; no, I'm not convinced it's getting me anywhere; yes, I am terrified damage will be long-term; yes, I realise it almost certainly won't be.
I seem to be coping with musical activities somehow though (how I managed the choir on Monday is beyond me, but manage it I did, and I'm still more nervous about the Shinies than the singing for Sunday). Good thing too, I have my trial with Shylo tomorrow morning, and you will of course be updated on this.
Note-to-self; clarify what I'm looking for, make sure this gets through to Shylo. She's a songwriter herself, she'll almost certainly be aware of where I'm coming from. And that's the big USP she has over the slightly cheaper Chris... who gets his chance to help me out and win me over on Wednesday night, 6:30pm.
