: You almost certainly didn't see this coming
Three months ago, I eschewed all politics modules in favour of a module selection that leant heavily mathematical.
Rarely if ever have I made such a mistake.
Most mathematical economics is essentially calculus, and this does not make sense to me on anything like the same level as logic generally or, indeed, arithmetic.
And above all, I am an analytical thinker. I'll pick up pieces of information and put them together, drawing conclusions as I do so. I think that's what I'm best at.
I am seriously considering starting all over again with a Politics degree, but that seems like an admission of defeat...
