I now have a clarinet. £50.30 including the reed, apparently from a bundle that were left unsold by some larger group and would have been thrown away otherwise. Comes in a black briefcase with silver seals and a black handle; it looks like a cross between a handbag and the briefcases on Miljoenenjacht (tonight, 2130 CET/2030 BST, live webstream on www.tien.tv. One person has already offered me teaching, and I am aware of another who is more experienced; I may choose to start with the former and then move onto the latter, but I am not certain as yet.
