That's how many lighting transitions there are in this production. Of these, only one is mid-scene, and that is a very subtle effect that was thrown in for something vaguely interesting; the rest lead to and from intervals, or are at either end of the play. Remarkable. Email was sent out, but not quite trusting the step of distributing the music had happened, I handed a printout to VR as she headed into the orchestration and arranging lecture. (She says it's not a strength of hers - she is very much primarily a performer - and so it is likely someone else will be responsible. But she has it, and can distribute it to those who want it. At this point, I also reaffirmed my desire to write something for her.) This post will be edited at around 11pm, with a karaoke update. Edit: or it could be edited at 9:45pm to point out that H2O was closed, quite possibly for good. Given that it was never that busy whenever I'd been there, and it was very smoky when I went there in June, I tentatively chalk one up for the smoking ban. | |
