: The ghost of corporatist present, and other more cheerful news
OK, so the Soup Dragon's approach to the terror threat is to tighten security at railway stations (but only 250 of them), while removing some of the regulations on hand luggage for air travel.
Great. Let's get everyone to fly and not use the train. Brilliant. Absolutely fantastic. Not.

Piano lesson today, and a realisation before it; I'm learning accompaniments to songs with a vocal melody. I am a singer-songwriter. Why, then, am I not singing as I play? Granted, it makes sense to start not doing so, but I felt ready to try it. Necessary at some point, after all.
Played through the entirety of the Soviet Kitsch album (which Alex has the sheet music for), essentially to check which songs there I could possibly sing. Settled on Ghost of Corporate Future, and therein lies the pun within the title.
And... surprisingly, the piano-playing did not become noticeably more error-strewn. The singing became somewhat less confident, but I believe this will correct itself. Good news, then.
