: One Percenter

daweaver’s post on his relationship situation, but it is well worth making nonetheless, and one I maybe should have made earlier.
( And it’s even longer than that post, over 1,500 words (!), and that’s with one of its many tangents deliberately omitted )
This essay is about 60% of the length of one I wrote on pluralism for a Politics unit, and took about 6% of the time. If that. Clearly, this won’t be the best-crafted of essays, especially as it was written in the small hours without even caffeine assistance (very minor amendments took place prior to posting). The reason it is not friends-locked is twofold: I cannot believe anyone I wouldn’t want to see this would stumble across it; furthermore, I believe that any awareness of asexuality should be encouraged.
Yesterday, speaking to a friend about this, she expressed a great surprise given that my desire for hugs strongly implied I am, her words not mine, 'clearly a very tactile person'. It's quite possible that mere squeamishness is the issue here, but even after writing this essay I'm genuinely unsure.
